This year, Team Gary Works far surpassed their fundraising goal of $20,000 for the 2024 March for Babies and currently ranks among the Top 25 teams in the nation. In a collaborative effort as a corporation, U. S. Steel raised over $50,000 to fight for the health of all moms and babies. Thank you to everyone who helped donate to this vital cause!

When U. S. Steel Gary Works first participated in 2021, the plant raised over $6,500. This year, the Complex’s fundraising efforts raised over $26,000 – that’s nearly a 300% increase in just four years! This was made possible by raising awareness about the mission of March of Dimes, the annual gate collection and the generosity of our many friends and family who donated online.

U. S. Steel is pleased to develop strong partnerships within the communities where our plants operate. This is one example of the great work happening in the Northwest Indiana region.
