In January, U. S. Steel's Gary Works and Midwest Plant hosted blood drives with the American Red Cross. A big thank you and hard hat tip to all those who participated, yielding donations of 13 and 16 pints of blood, respectively. 

In addition, each plant raffled off a 22” Blackstone Griddle. Congratulations to the following winners:

• Gary Works Training Center (Jan. 12): Christopher Bush. Christopher is an MTE Learner from our Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) group. 
• Midwest Training Room (Jan. 26): Michael Holtz. Michael is a Process Control Engineer from our Plant Processes group.

Thanks again to all our donors who joined us at these blood drives! We greatly appreciate your support and know that your donation will be used to support the American Red Cross’ life-saving mission, one pint at a time.
