Members and supporters from Gary Works’ Women’s Inclusion Network (WIN) and LEAD (Leveraging and Enhancing All Diversity) Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) met in Highland, Indiana, on May 22 to host a water table and cheer on participants, including the daughter of a volunteer, at the Girls on the Run event. 

Our volunteers had a great time promoting safety through hydration and lifting participants spirits.  They are looking forward to volunteering at future races.

Girls on the Run is a non-profit organization that uses trained volunteer coaches to inspire girls to build confidence and other important life skills through dynamic, interactive lessons and physical activity.  The organization also inspires girls to value what makes them unique.
