A couple of weeks ago, the City of Portage started spreading Christmas cheer around Northwest Indiana with their parade and tree lighting. This holiday event, which is sponsored by U. S. Steel and many other area businesses and residents, continues to draw a large crowd and connect the community! Those who attended were able to meet Mr. and Mrs. Claus, drink hot cocoa and share the joy of Christmas with other children by donating to Toys for Tots. 

Thank you to the City of Portage for putting on a great, family-friendly event that will continue for years to come!
