The 2025 Gary Air Show took flight August 9–10, transforming Marquette Park near U. S. Steel’s Gary Works and Midwest Plant into a hub of excitement, food, vendors, and beachfront fun! Attendees enjoyed stunning aerial performances by the U.S Air Force Thunderbirds and more, set against the breathtaking backdrop of Lake Michigan and the Indiana Dunes.

U. S. Steel was proud to support this iconic, family-friendly event as a community partner celebrating aviation, innovation, and regional pride. From the sponsored Warbird Thunder Plane to U. S. Steel photo ops and speaker shoutouts, our presence was felt throughout the weekend.
